Short version: if you subscribe, I collect your email address. I use it to send you new essays. Nothing else.
What I collect
An email address, and only if you give it to me. Subscriptions are handled by WordPress.com, which requires you to confirm from your own inbox before anything is sent. If you never click that confirmation, you are not on the list.
WordPress.com also collects standard traffic statistics, such as how many people read a post and roughly where in the world they are. I see numbers, not names.
What I do with it
I email you new essays from this blog. That is the entire purpose.
I do not sell your address, rent it, trade it, or hand it to anyone. This list is separate from the NICE Pilates client list, and the two are never merged. Subscribing here does not sign you up for studio news, class schedules, or anything else. If you want those, you have to ask for them somewhere else, on purpose.
How to stop
Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and you are off the list, permanently, no questions and no follow-up. You can also write to admin@nicepilates.studio and ask me to remove you, and I will.
California
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information I have collected about you, to request that I delete it, and to not be discriminated against for asking. In this case, the answer to the first question is: an email address, if you gave me one. Write to the address above and I will confirm what I have or delete it.
